Natural Heirloom Corn Silk Soap Bar 4 Oz

This year, we grew a heirloom corn variety in garden that produced the most beautiful cornsilks, so we decided to take part in an old Appalachian tradition- making cornsilk soap!

Cornsilk has been used as a skincare and soap ingredient for centuries by various native American tribes for good reason- its wonderful for skin health! Cornsilk is reputed to have anti-inflamatory properties and is absolutely packed with antioxidants- these are the natural compounds that fight cancer-causing free radicals.

We also added molasses from Golding Farms in Winston- Salem NC which creates a luscious, hydrating lather that smells a bit like sweet cornbread and vanilla!

Each Bar is hand cut, and has cured for four weeks, allowing the soap to develop natural glycerin, and allows all water content to evaporate so you get a high-quality, long-lasting bar that produces alot of lather!

Ingredients: Olive Oil, Corn Oil, Coconut Oil, Home grown heirloom cornsilk, Molasses, Salt, Distilled Water, Fragrance.
